Durham CCC closed the day on 426 for 9 after an entertaining open day at the Emirates Durham ICG.
Durham CCC celebrate their 21st Birthday as a First Class County this weekend, and with this the side will be taking on Durham MCCU in the traditional County Cricket season opener.
Due to the adverse weather conditions, Durham CCC's fixture on 27th march with Loughborough University has been called off.
