Very unfortunate that the weather is winning. Was looking forward to seeing my favourite team in full flow. Sad for young Paul Coughlin if he can't get back on to bowl and going for 15 in his only over. This happens in one day lotteries and he'll have the chance to hit back tomorrow.

Just shows how localised the weather is, in central Sunderland it has hardly rained at all today. On my way, assume car park machines are full again and parking will be free!

If Hants lose today but Surrey is washed out then Hants will still top the table.

If Surrey win and Hants draw it will be down to run rate in this group. Hants are clear of Surrey by around .3 so Surrey would need a big win to turn it around. If they did though it would be dependant on the results of Sussex and Warwicks who could both overtake them for best placed 2nd.

I believe the supporters club asked for free admission due to the switch and LCCC offered 4 day admission for I believe £20 (not 100% certain of figure) but you had to book in advance

totally agree. i was at a home game the other week, and over heard someone saying the person who runs the supporters club has asked lancs cc to provide free tickets for those put out. not sure how true etc that is though

yeah i thought it was a wind up when i heard their was a pitch inspection then 5 mins later the match was off. see what happens as i'm sure the club will investigate. the rain was moderate, not what i'd expect to call a game off at our ground though. very odd

Sunderland RCA and Washington were off. Did not seem that bad to me when I got to Sunderland but my mate who lives there reckoned it had been raining all night and all morning. Just think they called it off too early myself.

Chris, SAFC's pitch was perfectly playable apparently at 2:50pm on Saturday. There is not a lot the ground staff can do if the ref decides to call it off at 1:40pm!!
