It makes for exciting games though I think we are lucky not to have points deducted for it, low scores shouldnt be the case for every innings in every game, particularly the top 3 of teams seem to find batting against the new ball impossible.

It would be a shame if there was no LMC. Remember next year we wont have radio commentary so losing this would be a double blow. I don't think any other county website has anything like this.

I know. I think they referred to that problem in the summary. However, if there are any other clubs who've innocently breached it and not owned up They won't get away so lightly.

I know we're minus 2.5 for next season for breaching the salary cap but reading the ECB comment on it, the club came out of it with a great deal of credit. I just wonder what penalties might be in store for other clubs who have been less forthcoming. They did say that Durham were the only ones to come forward.

Certainly would do a job in the 50 over team, cant do much worse than Bopara. We lost points for slow over rate, seemed a bit harsh but there you go. We're -2.5 for next season already.

We were warned it would be cold. It's not just the lateness in the year. The coldest I've been at the EICG was the match during that royal wedding which was June I think. Dress appropriately, cover your tatoos and shelter behind a golf umbrella, or rather, in front of one.
