Colly always a good team player and someone the rest of the players(hopefully anyway) have a lot of respect for. Throughout his career he's always had periods where he looks hopelessly out of form so although he does need runs I'm confident they will come.

I'm not being complacent but the team is full of top quality players and I'd be surprised if they don't put things right soon. It'd be wrong to have blind faith in them but imo they need to be given a chance to turn things around. That's not to say changes shouldn't be made-Richardson for example could come in.

Always difficult to know how good/bad a score is without being there but-according to the newspaper reports-both sides have been guilty of careless batting and some loose bowling. We should have got close to if not beyond 500 and it's slightly disappointing Somerset have recovered from being 6 down for just obver 200.

Yes Tristan that's the other way of looking at it. If it came down to a choice between Harmy & Liam for the next CC match I'd stick with Harmy and keep Liam in for the one dayers. Plunkett is a very good batsman, I sometimes think he might even be capable of playing as a number 6/7.

Wouldn't it be to unfair to drop them both after just one game? Harmy usually takes time to get into form and Plunket thas done very well in the one day games-bowled accurately. It would be a huge risk and unfair on Callum but I agree with Sir Gareth.

I see this game slightly differently to some-we've had an awful start(and I've consistently said I do not blame the batsmen for struggling in awful conditions) but we still need to look towards the top of the table. If we draw or lose this it might be time to get worried but a top 3 finish should still be our goal. If Warwickshire happen to slip up(unlikely) who knows what could happen?
