Overcast conditions definitely a factor today and Lancs did not find it any easier than we did. If they'd finished 150-1 I would have been very critical but we are still very much in this game. Both sets of batsmen have struggled in tricky conditions against very good bowling.

There were signs last season which we finished poorly and rumours about issues in the dressing room then and arguments over team selection. Phil has not looked a happy bunny this season, not his usual self.

After this game we will have played over 40% of the championship season. We are averaging less than 5 points per game and we still show zero signs of any form at all. With only 40 mins gone of this current game, we already look second favorites and against the team currently sitting third bottom. I cannot see how anybody can ignore the fact that we are firmly in a relegation battle now.
