I was there on day one and we might have had a 1st innings lead even though we only scored 102. Couple of catches went down and missed run outs. No ones fault when those things happe but my point is batting was exceptionally difficult for both sides. If Lancs had responded to our 102 with 350 it would have been different but the found it as hard as we did.
