From what I saw this afternoon it would have been very risky to try and up the scoring rate. Batting was very difficult so the most important thing was to try and get a decent first innings score. I think it was a superb effort by Smith, Stokes, Benks & Colly.

The trouble with slow scoring, is that when wickets do invariably fall - You don't have many on the board.

I work full time, sometimes on bank hols and weekends. I always get to at least one session each day. I consider myself very lucky to only live 9 miles from the ground. If, for example, I lived in Darlington or Stockton it would be less practical to do so. Never forget though, it is only a game of cricket.
