Not much of a Geordie at Man U, his accent seemed to come back when he went to Sunderland. I still think he would have done OK if Bent had stayed. Guiness in Dublin is fantastic, sweeter and less bitter than the version we get.

Tomb I like T20 when it's played by teams that know what they are doing; decent bowlers, good tactics. I'm going to give 3 away games a go. Herschelle Gibbs - I can't get excited about him. Would like it if we got our bowling right for the very short stuff. If they ain't going to play Thorpy in CC I wonder how he would do bowling in T20?

Do you think the tv coverage will have the crowd noise turned down so any morons chants wont be heard? I still think if the players walk off a few people will be quite happy with themselves. Lets hope that it isnt as bad as we are fearing though from Hollands warm up session that seems unlikely.

Let's put this game out of its misery /sic) now and look forward to the second half of the season. After recent performances I am quite optimistic that it will go a lot better , weather always permitting. A few more good results in the CB40, and even the awful T20 will help to boost morale as well.

Have we declared yet, bearing in mind there won't be a full days paly, possibly no play. Its so frustrating waiting 6-7 months for the season to start and then to suffer the amount of rain we've had, even though the Lancs game was completed it was ruined by the rain, havent been able to sit out and enjoy the paly much this season due to the cold and rain.

Correct Tristan, and correct tomb, yeah the support acts were rubbish!! And yeah the piano broke just before paradise ha ha, it only took them about 3 minutes to get it working again. It was amazing Brandonia, the Xylobands were crazy!

Yes, the stage position differs, but last night it was in the north stand, with a bit coming out of it, and there were people on the grass and in the seats in the rest of the stadium.

Excellent idea Bigwolls, but a bank would have to service it regularly and given that match days are relatively infrequent (taking the year as a whole) it might not be worth their while. Worth enquiring though. NatWest might provide a temporary one at the international matches they sponsor.
