Durham 2nd XI v Somerset 2nd XI
Durham managed to hang on against Somerset as they drew with 9 wickets down. Chasing 299 Durham were progressing well with opening pair Will Smith and Gordon Muchall putting on 128 before Smith was caught behind for 48. His opening partner Muchall went on to score 113. At 200 - 3 Durham looked well set to chase down 299 but some fine Somerset bowling and 6 wickets later it awas Durham on the back foot as they looked to bat for the draw.
