Durham Jets Innings 137 all out (187 to win)
20th over. Durham Jets 137 all out: WICKET! Arshad hits a boundary but is then caught at long off, and Chris Rushworth quickly follows to give Azeem Rafiq two wickets in his first over. A 49-run win for the Vikings, with Jonny Bairstow's century proving the difference.
19th over. Durham Jets 132-8: WICKET! A spirited knock of 62 comes to an end as Hastings is bowled by Sidebottom. The Jets star receives a warm ovation as he leaves the field, with Gareth Breese the new man in. The game has gone sadly, with Yorkshire Vikings on the brink of a comprehensive derby win.
18th over. Durham Jets 132-7: FOUR! Hastings brings up a fine half-century from just 25 balls with a fizzing drive through extra cover. His 50 included 3x4s and 4x6s and he adds two more muscular boundaries later in the over as Robinson continues to leak runs. Hastings calls for a change of bat and then toe-ends a ball down to long-off for a single. 55 to win from 12 balls.
17th over. Durham Jets 117-7: The required run rate is over 20 now, as Bresnan bowls his final over. The Vikings' number 16 concedes just five to finish with very respectable figures of 1-22.
16th over. Durham Jets 112-7: Hastings refuses to accept defeat as he pulls the ball away for two more and then SIX! A half-volley from Sidebottom is seized upon and the ball sails over long-on. The Australian has reached 45, so he has passed his previous best T20 score of 36.
15th over. Durham Jets 100-7: WICKET. Borthwick is snared by a slower ball from Bresnan, as an attempted pull only loops high in the air and Finch takes a catch at mid-wicket. With just five overs to go, the Jets require an unlikely 87 to win.
14th over. Durham Jets 95-6: Young Oliver Robinson is introduced to the attack and is welcomed by a SIX! from Hastings, who pulls the seamer's first delivery over the man at deep square leg. SIX! Hastings then strikes the penultimate ball even further and then FOUR! A low full toss is fired away to the leg side once more but a despairing dive from Pyrah isn't enough as he parries the ball down and it trickles over the rope. It's fewer than 100 runs to win but the rate required is over 15 an over.
13th over. Durham Jets 75-6: Hastings completely miscues a shot that loops into the air and plugs in the ground in the mid-on region. The shot allows the batsmen to cross for two runs though, as Rashid completes his four overs with figures of 1-24. Pyrah has been the star however - he took 3-19 from his spell.
12th over. Durham Jets 69-6: Mustard, despite not being at his best, is providing the backbone to this innings and he hits Pyrah for successive boundaries to open the 12th over. WICKET! Mustard tries for another four but top edges the ball high into the air and Bairstow pouches the catch. Scott Borthwick joins Hastings in the middle, and it's the big Australian who ends the over with a flourish as he slaps the ball beyond the dive of long-on for four.
11th over. Durham Jets 55-5: SIX! Hastings wastes no time as he plants Rashid over the long-on fence with a meaty blow. 10 from the over, but the Jets require nearly 15 an over to win from here.
10th over. Dutham Jets 45-5: WICKET! It keeps getting worse for the Jets as Muchall times a drive beautifully but picks out Finch at extra cover. WICKET! It's two in two balls as a delivery from Pyrah catches the edge of Ryan Pringle's bat and Bairstow takes the catch.
9th over. Durham Jets 42-3: WICKET! Bad start to the ninth over as Collingwood attempts a slog sweep and is bowled by Rashid for 14. Gordon Muchall is the new man, and he gets off the mark by forcing the ball up to long-on off the back foot. 145 to win, with the rate required over 13 now.
8th over. Durham Jets 40-2: A very healthy crowd of 6,746 watch on as Mustard continues to find scoring difficult. Pyrah concedes just three runs, with Mustard unable to make contact with the final two deliveries. He has 22, Collingwood 14.
7th over. Durham Jets 37-2: The leg spin of Adil Rashid is introduced by captain Finch, as the Jets look to up the run rate. Collingwood pulls a short ball away for a single before a leg side wide smacks into the knee of keeper Bairstow, who hobbles around for some time before taking his place behind the stumps again. After the high of scoring a century earlier in the evening, this is a low for Bairstow, who looks in some pain.
6th over. Durham Jets 31-2: A low full toss from Sidebottom isn't punished by Mustard, who is denied a boundary thanks to a good stop at mid-on by the lively Lyth. Mustard picks up a four to close the powerplay overs though with a late cut through backward point. 156 to win from 14 overs.
5th over. Durham Jets 22-2: FOUR! Finally a bit of relief as Mustard slashes hard at a full delivery from Bresnan and a thick edge bounces away for a boundary. The Jets keeper then angles his bat to pick up a single, before Collingwood doesn't quite time a pull shot to register another run. FOUR! Mustard beats the dive of mid-on with a firm shot to bring another much-needed four.
4th over. Durham Jets 12-2: Mustard scored a dashing half-century against Derbyshire in the previous game, but he's finding it tough in the middle this evening. Richard Pyrah only leaks a single from his first over as the stranglehold continues.
3rd over. Durham Jets 11-2: Tim Bresnan bowls from the Lumley End and after the two early wickets, Collingwood and Mustard are in watchful mood. Two singles are picked up as the Vikings tighten their grip on this game.
2nd over. Durham Jets 9-2: Back from international duty with Scotland, Calum MacLeod is the new man in. WICKET! His innings doesn't last long as he backs away to try and slap Ryan Sidebottom through the off-side but the ball beats the bat and clatters into the stumps. Collingwood hits his first delivery sweetly for four to calm some nerves but it's been a really bad start for the Jets.
1st over. Durham Jets 3-1: Off-spinner Kane Williamson has an early appeal for lbw against Mark Stoneman turned down but then WICKET! Bad start for the Jets as skipper Stoneman flicks a miscued shot into the air and Aaron Finch takes a tumbling catch at mid-on.
Yorkshire Vikings Innings 186-8 (20 overs)
20th over. Yorkshire Vikings 186-8. 18 from the final over and a sensational century from Jonny Bairstow. He scoops a ball for four and then absolutely smashes a pull shot for six to bring up three figures from just 57 balls with 8x4s and 6x6s. He deservedly gets a warm ovation as he leads the players off the field. The Vikings have posted a big total here at Emirates Durham ICG, can the Jets chase it down?
19th over. Yorkshire Vikings 168-8: SIX, SIX, SIX! Three successive sixes from Bairstow, who clubs Breese over long-on three times in a row. The last shot crashes into the Health Club, very nearly taking out a window! Bairstow has moved into the nineties now and is clearly sniffing a century. WICKET! Breese strikes back as he has Richard Pyrah caught on the boundary by Arshad and then WICKET! Bairstow smashes the next delivery into the stumps, and with Oliver Robinson out of his ground, Breese grabs the ball, uproots a stump and runs him out before he's faced a single ball.
18th over. Yorkshire Vikings 149-6: This has been a good recovery from Bairstow and Rashid. Bairstow smears a short ball from Rushworth away for four more as the Vikings push towards a very decent total. WICKET! After Bairstow added a single, Rashid is bowled by Rushworth for a handy 29. That partnership was worth 64, with Bairstow still unbeaten on 71.
17th over. Yorkshire Vikings 141-5: Arshad is into his final over and makes a good start before SIX! And a no-ball too! Rashid whacks the ball away for a maximum and then SIX! He promptly strikes the free-hit for another six to really punish the Jets bowler. Bairstow then helps a ball down the leg side for another boundary to complete a damaging over. 21 from it.
16th over. Yorkshire Vikings 119-5: If Durham can get Bairstow, then the Vikings could crumble but the England International strikes Collingwood away for another boundary to move to 57. Bairstow and Rashid have played together for years and are running well between the wickets as they pick up a further six runs from that over. Collingwood finishes with figures of 1-31.
15th over. Yorkshire Vikings 109-5: Yorkshire bring up the 100 with a scambled single and then Bairstow grabs his half-century from 39 balls. His innings has included 4x4s and 2x6s, with his 50 arriving courtesy of a flick down to the fine leg boundary fence. A good innings after a slow start.
14th over. Yorkshire Vikings 98-5: The pair of Rashid and Bairstow add three singles before Rashid swings and misses at a delivery outside off-stump from Collingwood. Another dot ball follows as Rashid drives the ball straight to Stoneman at extra cover. Rashid finally gets one through the infield as he sweeps the final delivery for his first boundary. Six overs remain.
13th over. Yorkshire Vikings 91-5: Bairstow thumps a full ball back past bowler Arshad to move towards a half-century. A low full toss is then guided down towards long-on for a single and Bairstow is on 45 now.
12th over. Yorkshire Vikings 84-5: WICKET! Hastings returns for his final over and bangs the ball in short. Bresnan goes after it and hooks the ball straight to Rushworth at long leg. The bowling and the fielding have been superb so far as Collingwood then makes a fine stop at point to deny Adil Rashid a first run. Two dot balls complete the over and Hastings finishes with excellent figures of 3-20.
11th over. Yorkshire Vikings 82-4: SIX! After a stodgy start, Bairstow has suddenly found his rhythm. He heaves Collingwood away for a big six towards the Don Robson Pavillion and will take strike for the next over too as he picks up a single thanks to a push down to long-on.
10th over. Yorkshire Vikings 69-4: Pace off the ball has been important in T20 matches here this season but a wristy shot for four from Bairstow breaks the shackles. SIX! He then follows it up by lofting Breese high over the long-on fence. Bairstow then trots through for a single before WICKET! What a corker from Breese, who completely deceives Lyth. The ball turns away from Lyth and beats his defensive shot to clip off stump. A fantastic delivery and at the midway stage, the Jets are on top.
9th over. Yorkshire Vikings 56-3: WICKET! Just as the third wicket partnership was looking dangerous, Collingwood comes on to break it up. A slower delivery fools Lees, who stops halfway through an attempted drive and scoops the ball up high. Gordon Muchall runs in from long-on and does the rest to dismiss Lees for 29. A single and a wicket means it's a fine over from the always reliable Collingwood.
8th over. Yorkshire Vikings 55-2: Gareth Breese has been in fine form with the ball during this competition so far and he comes on for his first over from the Finchale End. Bairstow slaps a reverse-sweep for a single and then scampers a couple of twos after Lees rotated the strike. This partnership is now worth 43, with Lees on 29 and Bairstow 12.
7th over. Yorkshire Vikings 47-2: With fielding restrictions lifted, the field spreads and Scott Borthwick comes on to bowl. A quicker delivery is met with a thumping drive through extra cover by Lees, who used his feet to good effect. The tall number 14 repeats the trick with the next delivery before collecting a single down to long on.
6th over. Yorkshire Vikings 34-2: That's the end of the powerplay overs and it's been a good start for the Jets, with both of the visitors' overseas stars back in the dugout. Bairstow is really struggling to find the middle of his bat at the moment, as the England man can only prod a single to mid-on after another play and miss. Hastings concedes just two from that over and now has figures of 2-18 from three.
5th over. Yorkshire Vikings 32-2: With Mustard standing up behind the stumps, Rushworth returns but is bowling from the Lumley End now on this beautiful evening here in the north east. Jonny Bairstow plays and misses a couple of times and looks skyward in frustration as the miserly Rushworth continues to bowl a metronomic line and length. Just a single from a superb over.
4th over. Yorkshire Vikings 31-2: Yorkshire-born Usman Arshad replaces Rushworth at the Finchale End and unfortunately bowls a leg-side wide that seems to deviate off the pitch and evades Mustard to go for four. The left-handed Lees then gets a bottom edge to a drive and the ball skates away for another boundary. 11 from the over.
3rd over. Yorkshire Vikings 20-2: Hastings took four wickets in his last home NatWest T20 Blast match and he looks just as pumped up in this game. WICKET! With the fourth delivery of his second over, he finds a leading edge from Williamson and Mark Stoneman runs towards the boundary from extra cover to take a good catch over his right shoulder. Lees then spoils Hastings' figures a bit as he carves two beautiful drives through the covers for back-to-back boundaries.
2nd over. Yorkshire Vikings 11-1: Quiet over from birthday boy Chris Rushworth. The Jets seamer, who turns 28 today, concedes just four singles from the over. Williamson slashes hard at a delivery that bounces 10 yards short of third man to move on to five. Alex Lees has two.
1st over. Yorkshire Vikings 7-1: John Hastings over-steps with his second delivery to give the big hitting Vikings skipper Aaron Finch a free hit. Swing and a miss! A big waft from the Aussie but the ball skips through to Phil Mustard without any contact from the bat. WICKET! Huge breakthrough as Hastings dismisses his fellow countryman with his very next ball. A leading edge pops up and Paul Collingwood dives forward from point to take a fine catch. That's a golden duck for Finch too as Kane Williamson took the first two deliveries and Finch just faced a free hit, rather than a regular delivery. Hastings over-steps again with his final ball but only concedes a single with the free hit.
