Durham CCC is gearing up to welcome a sell-out crowd on Saturday as Little Mix take to the Emirates Riverside stage.
Tickets for the concert were snapped up shortly after going on sale earlier this year for the band’s Summer Shout Out tour.
It will be the second huge concert to hit the ground this summer after Rod Stewart’s successful gig last month.
Parking is still available from the Box Office at a cost of £5 & due to the close proximity of the concert, any parking passes from today onwards must be collected from the ground before the Box Office closes at 4pm on Friday. Should any parking places remain available on the day, they will be available to purchase for £10.
Alternatively, two park & ride sites are available at Lambton Estates & Belmont Park & Ride, which will open at 3pm.
Gates open on Saturday at 5pm & we advise all concert-goers to arrive early. The two support acts, Sheppard & Ella Eyre, are expected to start from 6pm.
There will be increased security measures taking place at each entrance point and a heightened security presence in all areas of the ground.
We anticipate the concert will conclude at approximately 9:45pm & ask for your patience as we aim to clear the venue & surrounding roads as quickly as possible with the safety of all in mind.
The Emirates Riverside drop off and pick up point, for all cars and taxis, will be located in Riverside Park. All vehicles must turn left when exiting the pick-up point and follow the diversion signs.
