Dynamos match against Falcons abandoned

The Dynamos Friends Provident t20 fixture against Derbyshire Falcons was abandoned due to rain with the hosts having batted for 13 overs and posting 113 on the board.

Derbyshire won the toss and elected to field first. Dynamos captain Phil Mustard posted a t20 career best score of 70* and seemed to be in good form when rain brought proceedings to a halt. 

With the rain continuing to fall, and despite the efforts of the groundstaff to keep on top of mopping up the water off the covers, play was brought to a halt at 7.50pm.

The result means that the Dynamos pick up just one point from the game.
