Gordon Muchall and Jamie Harrison will play for Durham's second eleven against Gloucestershire this week.
The duo have been included in Alastair Maiden's squad for the four-day friendly match beginning on Monday in Bristol (11am start)
Muchall, who has been named captain for the fixture, made 12 first class appearances last season with a top score of 158 not out against Nottinghamshire. The 32-year-old was also a regular in the successful 50-over side that won the Royal London One-Day Cup.
All-rounder Harrison has not played since last August due to injury and has since undergone surgery to resolve a long-standing knee problem. Peter Chase, Ryan Buckley and Gavin Main, all of whom played for the first team last season, are also included in the squad.
The line-up is expected to change during the game as Ryan Pringle and Usman Arshad will feature on days two and three after narrowly missing out on selection for the first eleven match at Taunton.
