Players give a helping hand as development continues
It's been pretty hectic at Riverside this week with the turfing completed on the outfield and preparation work underway for the development in the South West corner of the ground.

Mitchell Claydon, Gareth Breese and Callum Thorp were on hand to lay the final piece of turf on the outfield following the completion of the drainage work on the field. Work on the outfield started after the ODI in September and once work was finished it took 15 days for the team to lay the turf. The team had to work through varying conditions, including heavy fog and snow, to make sure the project was completed by the deadline.

Away from the outfield, Durham Captain WIll Smith pulled on a hard hat and high visibility jacket for the clearance of the South West Corner as building work began on the new pavilion extension. This £3 million project will create more seating options, which could potentially include debenture options, and offer extended pavilion facilties for spectators.
