Stuart Poynter hit 13 boundaries against Sri Lanka A at Belfast
Coach Alastair Maiden has included Stuart Poynter in Durham's squad for the second eleven trophy game against Worcestershire at Brandon CC (Tuesday, 11am start)
Irish International Poynter, who made his Durham debut against Sri Lanka A earlier this month, returns to the team after representing his country last week.
The 23-year-old hit a sensational 109 from just 89 balls against the Sri Lankans at Belfast.
Poynter was assisted in a ninth wicket stand of 87 by fast bowler Peter Chase, who is also included in Maiden's 12-man squad.
Graham Clark will skipper the team at Brandon in the absence of regular captain Calum MacLeod, who is away on first team duty.
Durham have lost their last three trophy matches whilst visitors Worcestershire thrashed MCC YC in their previous game. However, Kevin Sharp's side have generally struggled for form in the competition this season and were bottom of the table until recently.
The two teams will play each other again at the same venue in a second eleven championship match, starting on Wednesday (11am start).
