Just five overs were played at Grace Road after rain interrupted play and continued to fall heavily which led to the match between Durham Dynamos and Leicestershire Foxes being abandoned and each team claiming one point.

In their five overs the Foxes, who had been asked to bat first, posted 58-1, with John Cobb posting a 21 ball fifty, which included five fours and four sixes, before he was bowled by Ian Blackwell for 54 with the final ball of the fifth over.
