Michael Richardson has struck centuries against Somerset and Yorkshire this year
Michael Richardson will play for Durham 2nd XI in their final trophy fixture against Lancashire at Stockton on Monday (11am start)
The 27-year-old has hit over 800 first class runs for the county this summer, including a career-best score of 148 during the game with Yorkshire in May.
Richardson has been an ever-present in the championship side but opportunities in limited-overs competitions have been harder to come by and he has featured just once in the Royal London One-Day Cup.
Mark Wood is also included in the squad and could bowl for the first time since Durham's T20 game with Leicestershire in mid-July. Wood played as a batsman in the recent defeat to Nottinghamshire 2nd XI at South North.
Jamie Harrison, who bowled seven overs on his return to action last week, suffered a reaction in his knee and will re-visit a specialist for an opinion. Fellow all-rounder Usman Arshad is expected to be back from a foot problem in around two weeks.
