Second XI v Lancashire ends in a draw
Durham Second Eleven, captained by Gareth Breese, won the toss and elected to bat first against Lancashire at Todmorden in this week’s Second Eleven Championship match.
All rounder Will Gidman (109) and trialist Greg Fotheringham (105*) both scored centuries, and with three scores in the thirties Durham put on 371 before declaring after 89 overs with three wickets remaining. Reece was the pick of the Lancashire attack, taking 2-61.
In the thirteen overs played before the close of play Lancashire lost two wickets for their 33 runs, with Evans and Wood claiming one apiece.

DAY TWO
Lancashire declared on 365-8 with Neil Killeen taking 2-27. Luke Evans and Gareth Breese picked up two wickets apiece.
Durham were 101-1 after their 19 overs with Lee Goddard caught by Cross off Parry for 28. Karl Turner (28*) and Will Gidman (44*) will return to the crease on day 3.
