Mark Stoneman will skipper the second string at Emirates Durham ICG

Mark Stoneman will captain the second eleven for a one-day friendly match against Northumberland on Sunday (11am start, Emirates Durham ICG)

The 27-year-old, who lifted the Royal London One-Day Cup and scored over 1,000 championship runs last year, is set to lead a side that includes five other players with first team experience.

Usman Arshad, Ryan Pringle, Peter Chase, Gavin Main and wicketkeeper Stuart Poynter are all included in coach Alastair Maiden's line-up and will be keen to impress.
