Warner: We're coming out all guns blazing
Durham debutant David Warner earned himself the Man of the Match accolade after hitting a 29 ball fifty which, along with a half century from fellow opener Phil Mustard, put the Dynamos well on their way to victory against the hosts Derbyshire.
“It’s good for me and Phil to set the standard high for the next game. If we can keep getting off to a flyer like that who knows what can happen.
“We’re treating every game as a final and our next three games are crucial for us. We’re going to be coming out with all guns blazing.
“I’ve had a couple of days off, got the first game out of the way today and got ourselves an important win , now it’s time to focus on tomorrow”, said Warner.
David Warner will make his Riverside debut on Wednesday 24 June when the Men in Black face Yorkshire Carnegie (6.00pm start). Tickets will be available to purchase on the gate priced at £15 for adults and £6 for juniors.
