Conditions of Sale

CONDITIONS OF SALE


1. Play is not guaranteed.

2. Spectators are prohibited from bringing alcohol into the ground

3. Tickets cannot be returned for exchange or re-sale, under any circumstances other than those relating to adverse weather conditions.

4. Tickets are not transferable and proof of identity and age may be required where an age concession is claimed.

5. The Club reserves the right to search anyone entering the ground to prevent weapons, dangerous articles or alcohol being taken into the ground.

6. Spectators are reminded that racially abusive comments and actions will result in ejection from the ground and possible further action.

7. Spectators are prohibited from entering the playing area at all times.  Players and officials regard entry onto the playing area as a threat to their personal safety.  Spectators entering the field of play will be liable to a fine of £1,000 and/or charged under the Public Order Act.

8. Please note that the use of any cameras, mobile phones, computers and other electronic equipment, for the recording, transmission or communication of match details, statistics, images etc is not permitted other than with proper accreditation.

9. The Club reserve the right to
(i) Refuse admission to any person
(ii) Refuse admission to or eject from the ground any person under the influence of alcohol or non-compliance with the prohibited items listed below.

10.  All monies from applications will be banked immediately. Applications will be dealt with in strict chronological order of date of receipt.

11. Tickets shall not be resold or transferred (save as mentioned in (12) below) and shall not be purchased or obtained from or through any person, commercial agent, company or otherwise than directly by the applicant from the ECB, Venue or its authorised agent. Any tickets advertised for sale will be void.

12. If more than one ticket is issued to an applicant those tickets may be used only by the applicant and the person(s) intending to accompany that applicant to and at the Event.  The provision of such ticket by an applicant to such person without payment shall not contravene (11) above.

13. Tickets are issued subject to Ground Regulations established by the ECB/Venue from time to time and the ECB/Venue shall be entitled to refuse admission to any ticket holder in reasonable circumstances and shall give written reasons if requested. A copy of the full Ground Regulations currently in force is available on the Official Web Site of the Event and is also available on application.

14. Any ticket obtained in breach of these Conditions shall be void and all rights conferred or evidenced by such ticket shall be nullified. Any person seeking to use a ticket obtained in breach of these Conditions in order to gain or provide entry to or remain at the Event will be a trespasser and will be ejected and liable to legal action.

15. Tickets remain the property of the ECB at all times. 

16. The ECB reserves the right to change these Conditions from time to time. Where such change materially affects the rights of the purchaser, the purchaser will have the right to a full refund.

17. Please Note: Tickets for all fixtures at Durham County Cricket Club are only obtainable from the Durham CCC Box Office. Durham CCC has a policy of seeking to identify any tickets being sold illegally or transferred to unauthorized agents or other third parties. Any spectator using such tickets to enter or attempt to enter the ground will be refused admission or removed from the ground. They may also be required to be interviewed by Northumbria Police.

PROHIBITED ITEMS

The following items are prohibited and may not be brought into the ground:

a) Glass bottles or cans
b) Glasses
c) Flagpoles
d) Masks
e) Knives and other offensive weapons
f) Flares
g) Alcohol
h) Sticks and poles (including flagpoles)
i) Banners
j) Fancy dress or oversize headwear of a nature which has the potential to cause injury to its wearer or other spectators or which could severely restrict the view of, or be construed as ‘offensive’ to other spectators.
k) Bands, other than those with prior agreement in writing from the organisers.
l) Any dangerous article or substance not referred to above.
