WELCOME TO Emirates durham international cricket ground
Durham County Cricket Club retained the LV=County Championship for the second consecutive year in 2009. The team went unbeaten throughout the whole County Championship and also reached the quarter finals of the Twenty20 Cup.
Dale Benkenstein led from the front since 2006 and has played a major role in bringing silverware to the Club.Wicket Keeper/Batsmen Phil Mustard now leads Durham for the 2010 season. We are aiming to have two exciting overseas players signed up for the new Friends Provident t20 competition, New Zealand Batsmen Ross Taylor and South African all-rounder Albie Morkel. The Club is determined to maintain the success of the Club by continuing to nurture local talent through the Academy and by signing players to join us who we believe can add depth to the squad.
After recent successes we will be the team to beat in 2010 and we hope that you will join us for what promises to be a truly exciting season.
