WELCOME TO THE RIVERSIDE

The 2007 season has undoubtedly been our most successful yet, with two trophies and second place in the Championship under our belt.  It would be an understatement to say that the team has performed superbly.  This season’s success has to be attributed to the great team spirit that that has been evident and of course some to fantastic individual performances.

The Club’s first visit to Lord’s for the Friends Provident Trophy was a highlight.  The team demonstrated, in front of a national audience, that we could step up and produce performances that can beat any other team on the circuit.  Winning Division 2 of the NatWest Pro40 secured our place in the first division for 2008 and proved once again what a wonderful one day team we are.

This season’s performances show that we really have arrived as a top team in both four day and one day cricket and we are now a team that other teams will be aiming to beat so next season should be an explosive one.
