Durham First Class Debut - August 2015 vs Yorkshire (A)
Jack Burnham's record-breaking exploits at international youth level have seen him touted as many people's one to watch throughout the 2016 season.
At the Under-19 World Cup in Bangladesh, Burnham was the highest run-scorer (420), including three centuries in six innings, while also becoming the highest-scoring Englishman in an Under-19 WC, overtaking previous record holder Alastair Cook.
The 19-year-old averaged a touch under 60 in the Second XI Championship and over 65 in the Second XI Trophy last year, earning him a call for the first team game at Yorkshire.
Despite recording a first innings duck, he delivered second time around with half-century against a much admired attack who would go on to win the Championship crown.
The remaining first class fixtures proved to be a learning experience which will stand the young star in good stead ahead of 2016, when he will look to cement a place in Durham's side in all three formats.
