Getting to the Emirates Durham ICG is easy – there are lots of ways to get there. Consider if there is a sustainable form of transport you can use for your journey to the Emirates Durham. Plan your journey well before the day including the purchase of any advance tickets or permits. Allow enough time for your journey and get there early as the site can become very busy near the start of a game.
The only way to secure your parking space at the ground is to purchase a parking permit in advance. Pre-paid permits, which are limited in numbers and sold on a first come first served basis, are available from the Box Office on 0844 4994466 or online by clicking here for £10.00.
Please do not park on the roads or in residential areas in the vicinity of the ground. Any vehicle found to be in contravention of the ‘No Waiting’ regulations may be dealt with by the Police. Blue badge holders - please follow instructions given by stewards.

The cost of the Park and Ride service is £4.00 per car. Park and Ride passes are available on the day at the park and ride site or can be booked in advance through the Box Office on 0844 499 4466 or online by clicking here.
Durham CCC is operating a Park & Ride service for this match which is located at the LAMBTON ESTATES post code DH3 4PQ.

• From A1(M) leave at junction 64.
• From A19 leave at A183 junction.
• From A167 follow signs via A183.
The Park & Ride will run from at 8.15am until 11.15am. The service will resume 30 minutes prior to close or abandonment of play.
Chester-le-Street can be accessed via a number of
bus routes such as:
• From Newcastle and Gateshead every 10
minutes on Angel services 21 and 22
• From Bishop Auckland and Durham every
30 minutes on Angel service 21

A number of trains stop at Chester-le-Street station. This is the closest station to the ground and is around a fifteen minute walk from Emirates Durham ICG via a clearly signposted route.
A limited number of trains stop at Chester-le-Street station, a fifteen minute walk from the Emirates Durham. A more extensive service operates to Durham station from where Durham CCC will operate a shuttle bus service. The shuttle bus service will operate from 8.15am to 11.15am in the morning, with a return service operating 30 minutes prior the close of play or abandonment of the game. The cost of this service is £2.00 per person per journey (£4 return) and is paid on the shuttle bus.
Drop-off and Pick-up Point
The Emirates Durham has a designated drop-off and pick-up point for all cars and taxis.
A road closure may be in place on B1284 Rotary Way immediately play finishes. It is advisable for vehicles to be at the pick-up point approximately 15 mins before close of play. All vehicles must turn left when exiting from the pick-up point.
There is a signed pedestrian route from Chester-le-Street town centre and railway station. Welcome staff from the Club will be positioned on the route to assist spectators and answer any queries.
Dedicated cycle racks are available free of charge at the ground. Stewards at the gate will direct any cyclists wishing to use these on the day.
