Both the Riverside and Castle View Suites offer stunning panoramic views over the cricket pitch , Lumley Castle and surrounding countryside of the River Wear making it an impressive setting whichever the season.

For larger weddings The Riverside Suite can accomodate up to 250 guests.

Roasted vine tomato soup with basil creme fraiche

Field mushroom medley in a smoked garlic and chervil cream served on chargrilled brioche

Beetroot cured salmon with baby caper egg and cucumber salad

Main Course

Locally sourced turkey parcel with chesnut, orange and stuffing wrapped in baconwith red wine and cranberry flavours 

French trimmed rack of lamb with tender braised shoulder, Pinot Noir and bramble juices

Trio of Northumberland sausages with red onion marmalade and caramelised parsnip mash
