Somerset were crowned champions of the 2025 Vitality Blast after pulling off a record-breaking run chase against Hampshire in the final on September 13.

Earlier in the day, Somerset booked their place in the title clash by defeating Lancashire in the first semi-final. Riding on that momentum, they produced a clinical performance in the final to lift the trophy in style.

Batting first, Hampshire posted a competitive 194/6. Opener Toby Albert set the tone with a brilliant 85 off 48 balls, while skipper James Vince provided solid support with a fluent 52 from 34 deliveries. Their partnership laid the foundation for a strong total.
