233/3 Against Mumbai Indians 

Gujarat Titans smashed their IPL record of 233/3 against the Mumbai Indians in the thrilling Qualifier 2 on May 26, 2023, at Ahmedabad. MI won the toss and invited GT to bat first, and they exploded with Shubman Gill’s explosive 129 off 60 balls, 7 fours, and 10 massive sixes. 

This inning was well-supported by Sai Sudharsan’s 43 off 31, and Hardik Pandya (28* off 13).

233/3 Against Mumbai Indians

After scoring their highest-ever score, GT’s bowlers crushed MI in the chase and bowled them out for only 171 in 18.2 overs for a massive 62-run win. From MI, only Suryakumar Yadav (61) and Tilak Varma (43) fought, but Mohit Sharma’s fiery 5/10 and Rashid’s crafty 2/33 sealed the victory for Gujarat Giants.

In the 5th match of the IPL 2025, the Gujarat Titans won the toss and decided to chase the target. On the batting-friendly conditions of Ahmedabad, Punjab Kings batters made a mockery of the GT bowlers as they scored 243/5. Their skipper, Shreyas Iyer, was the top scorer with 97 off 42.

Despite strong batting and a high run rate, the Gujarat Titans could not cross the line as the Punjab Kings’ bowling held firm in the final overs.

This match in Ahmedabad was a special night for the Gujarat Titans, as they recorded their 3rd-highest IPL score and their 3rd-highest partnership of 210 runs. Gujarat Titans won the toss and chose to bat first, and their decision paid off. They scored 231/3 in 20 overs.

In their 2nd season in the IPL, GT scored its 4th-highest score of 227/2. Gujarat Titans lost the toss, and Lucknow Super Giants chose to field first. Batting in the first innings, GT made full use of the conditions and scored a strong 227/2 in 20 overs.
