Manish Pandey is an experienced Indian cricketer known for his strong performances in the IPL. He made history by becoming the first Indian player to score a century in the tournament. Over the years, he has played for several teams and built a reputation as a dependable top-order batter.

Manish Pandey’s IPL Salary Year-wise

Manish Pandey started his IPL journey in 2008 with a salary of ₹12.3 lakhs at the Mumbai Indians. His earnings rose significantly in 2014 when Kolkata Knight Riders signed him for ₹1.70 crore, marking a major milestone in his career.

Manish Pandey’s IPL Journey

Manish Pandey began his IPL journey in 2008 when the Mumbai Indians signed him at the inaugural auction for the price of 6 lakh. In 2009, Royal Challengers Bangalore picked him as a specialist middle-order batter at double the price of INR 12 lakh. In this edition, he became the first Indian to score an IPL century, hitting 114* off 73 balls against Deccan Chargers. He was retained for the 2010 season and later played for Pune Warriors India from 2011 to 2013.

In 2014, Kolkata Knight Riders signed him for INR 1.7 Crore, and he played a major role in their title win, scoring 94 in the final against Kings XI Punjab and winning Player of the Match.

In 2018, Sunrisers Hyderabad bought him for ₹11 crore, making him one of the highest-paid players that season. Later, Lucknow Super Giants signed him for ₹4.6 crore in 2022, Delhi Capitals picked him for ₹2.4 crore in 2023, and Kolkata Knight Riders bought him for ₹50 lakh in the 2024 auction. Manish Pandey lifted the IPL trophy twice with Kolkata Knight Riders—in 2014 (scoring 94* in the final) and 2024. He played a key role in both title wins.
