Durham Second Eleven v Leicestershire ends in a draw

Leicestershire won the toss and elected to bat first and reached 173 after they were bowled out in 41.3 overs.  Spinner Scott Borthwick claimed 4-42 off his 9 overs .

Durham knocked off the target in 39.1 overs with 6 wickets remaining with Gordon Muchall remaining unbeaten on 71*.  Ben Harmison and Karl Turner both added 24 to the score.

The same opposition meet in the Championship this week but with rain affecting play only 3.4 overs were possible on day 1.  Leicestershire won the toss for the second time this week adn elected to bat first.  They were 5-2 after rain stopped play.
