The England Domestic One-Day Cup 2025 began on 5th August, and after weeks of competitive cricket, the tournament has reached its final stage. The group phase saw Worcestershire top Group A and Yorkshire dominate Group B, with Hampshire, Gloucestershire, Somerset, and Middlesex also making strong runs.

The knockout rounds have added to the excitement, with Hampshire and Worcestershire booking their places in the final on September 20 at Trent Bridge, Nottingham. Fans now await the clash that will decide the champion of this year’s One-Day Cup.

The One Day Cup domestic competition in England is conducted in such a way that a total of 18 teams are divided into two groups (A and B).

Worcestershire lead Group A with 26 points, having lost just once in their eight matches. Hampshire and Gloucestershire follow closely with 24 points each, separated only by net run rate.

Essex, with 20 points, are also in contention for the knockouts. On the other hand, Glamorgan finished at the bottom with just one win, while Leicestershire and Surrey also struggled, ending their campaigns with disappointing returns.

In Group B, Yorkshire dominated the stage, topping the table with 28 points and an impressive +1.907 NRR. Somerset and Middlesex both secured 24 points each to stay close behind the leaders, while Warwickshire rounded out the top four with 20 points.

At the bottom, Lancashire and Northamptonshire managed only a single win each and bowed out early after a string of poor results.
