The Caught and Sewed group is a textiles and sewing group for people over the age of 50.
The project is simply about bringing people together to create a lasting memory of Durham County Cricket Club. Every part of this project is donated by the people involved, from the fabric and cotton to the refreshments enjoyed as they stitch.
You don’t have to be a sewing expert to join or a Durham County Cricket Club member. The group work on various projects, cricket and non-cricket related.
The latest creation was a banner the length of a cricket wicket, showcasing the entire history of DCCC and personal memories of the club from members of the group.
The project runs weekly on a Monday, 10.00-12.00.
