Three editions have been completed so far — 2019-21, 2021-23 and 2023-25 — with the fourth cycle, 2025-27, now underway. Each cycle features the top nine Test-playing nations competing in bilateral series, earning points towards qualifying for the final.

Australia leads the pack with a flawless start, winning all three of their matches and achieving a perfect 100% points percentage. Meanwhile, India has played the most matches with seven and sits in third place, showing both their effort and mixed results.
