The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) officially announced the complete schedule for the second phase of the TATA Indian Premier League (IPL) 2026 on Thursday, March 26. The remainder of the league stage, comprising 50 matches, will be played across 12 venues in India from April 13 to May 24, 2026.
With the Mumbai Indians vs Chennai Super Kings El Clasico dates confirmed, eight action-packed double-headers lined up, and key franchise home venues finalised, the second phase promises to be a thrilling contest as teams battle for a place in the playoffs.
Second Phase Fixtures, Venues & Double-Header Schedule
The action resumes on April 13 with Sunrisers Hyderabad taking on Rajasthan Royals in Hyderabad. Matches will be held across Bengaluru, Mumbai, Chennai, Kolkata, Delhi, Ahmedabad, Hyderabad, Lucknow, Jaipur, Dharamshala, Raipur, and New Chandigarh.
The second phase will feature eight double-headers, with afternoon matches starting at 3:30 PM IST and evening matches commencing at 7:30 PM IST, giving fans back-to-back cricket action on eight separate matchdays.
MI vs CSK El Clasico & Key Franchise Home Games
The most anticipated clash of the season is finally dated. The first leg of the Mumbai Indians vs Chennai Super Kings El Clasico will be played on April 23 in Mumbai, while the second leg heads to Chennai on May 2.
Punjab Kings will play home matches across New Chandigarh and Dharamshala, including three games in Dharamshala. Rajasthan Royals will host four home games in Jaipur, while Royal Challengers Bengaluru will play three matches in Bengaluru and two in Raipur. Check IPL 2026 Full Schedule here

While the league stage schedule is now fully in place, the BCCI is yet to confirm venues for the playoff stage. As the tournament enters its crucial phase, teams will compete fiercely across venues for a place in the knockouts, with the race expected to intensify through the latter half of the league stage.
