They will play Surrey in the County Championship Division 1 2025 on 29th August. This is their closest game coming up. The One Day Cup 2025 will also begin on 5th August.

The Durham Cricket Club is participating in England’s domestic tournaments, including County Test Championship, Vitality Blast(T20), and One Day Cup.

The season started early in April, and many matches are being prepared for the upcoming fixtures in the County Championship and One Day Cup, which starts on 05th August.

County Championship Division One 2025

As Durham is set to start their One-Day Cup campaign from 05th August, we will get complete squad details. Most of these players are set to feature, and there will be some additions because of the change of format from Test to 50-over cricket. Senior players who are involved with the national team will play accordingly as well.

Durham is in the 6th position in the test championship after playing 10 matches so far in the competition. They have a total of 111 points, including two wins, four losses, and four draws, leading them to a below-par performance in the 2025 season.

On the other hand, they are having a great season in the Vitality Blast 2025 after finishing 2nd on the North ground and qualifying for the quarter-finals. They are set to play against Hampshire in the 2nd quarter-final on 05th September.

Top Performers For Durham in 2025

Graham Clarke is leading the chart of most runs for Durham in the Vitality Blast 2025 T20 competition. New Zealand all-rounder Jimmy Neesham’s 20 wickets are the most taken by Durham’s bowling unit.

The skipper, Alex Lees is leading with 768 runs in the County Championship Division One. Despite their below-par team effort, his consistent batting at the top of the batting order helped them post decent innings totals.
