T20I cricket is a format where every ball counts, and getting out for zero can happen to anyone, from associate nation regulars to World Cup-winning captains. What’s interesting about the most ducks in T20I list is how it mixes players from completely different levels of the game. You’ll find associate nation all-rounders like Rwanda’s Bimenyimana batting alongside full-member stars like Dasun Shanaka and Paul Stirling.

As of 2026, Sri Lanka’s Shanaka leads the chart with 16 ducks in 134 matches, followed closely by Thailand’s Chatphaisan and Rwanda’s Bimenyimana, both on 15. Before looking at the full list, let’s understand what a duck is and the different types of ducks in cricket.
