Gulf Giants and Desert Vipers played the final of the first-ever edition of the ILT20. The Giants won the toss and elected to bowl. The Vipers scored 146 runs for the loss of eight wickets. The next season saw two new teams, MI Emirates and Dubai Capitals, qualify for the final. MI batted first and made 208 runs for the loss of three wickets.
