The Hundred 2026 Budget Cap & Overseas Players Rule

The Hundred has introduced significant changes to team-building regulations for the 2026 men’s competition.

Each team has an overall salary pot of £2.05 million, with all eight teams having signed or retained four players during the pre-auction window, resulting in £950,000 being deducted from their budgets.

This leaves each franchise with £1.1 million to spend in the upcoming auction. Additionally, franchises can now sign four overseas players, up from the previous limit of three, allowing for greater international star power in the competition.

This rule change enables teams to build more globally diverse squads and attract top international talent to The Hundred.
