India’s Under-19 cricket team will tour South Africa in early 2026 for a three-match Youth ODI series, serving as key preparation before the ICC U19 Men’s Cricket World Cup.
All matches take place at Willowmoore Park in Benoni, with games on January 3, 5, and 7 at 1:30 PM IST.
India has announced its squad, appointing Vaibhav Sooryavanshi as the captain of the India U19 team, as Ayush Mhatre and Vihaan Malhotra had to miss the tour due to a wrist injury. India Under-19 tour of South Africa 2026 Squad
India’s U-19 regular captain Ayush Mhatre and vice-captain Vihaan Malhotra haven’t included in the squad due to wrist injury and require treatment at the BCCI Centre of Excellence.
They will both be directly included in the U-19 World Cup squad in their regular duties. In the presence of both players, the 14-year prodigy Vaibhav Suryavanshi will lead the team.
