Islamabad United Became The First PSL Champions In 2016
Islamabad United won the first PSL season by beating Quetta Gladiators in Dubai. Quetta scored 174/7, but Islamabad chased the target with 175/4 in 18.4 overs.

Dwayne Smith played the match winning knock with 73 runs from 51 balls. Islamabad’s title win gave the new league a strong opening season and made them the first name on the PSL winners list.
Peshawar Zalmi Won Their First Title In 2017
Peshawar Zalmi lifted their first PSL trophy in 2017 after defeating Quetta Gladiators by 58 runs in Lahore. Peshawar scored 148/6 before bowling Quetta out for 90.

This final had extra importance because it was played at Gaddafi Stadium, Lahore. Darren Sammy led Peshawar Zalmi and was named Player of the Match.
Islamabad United Became Two Time Champions In 2018

Lahore made 200/6, and Multan finished on 199/8. Shaheen Shah Afridi played a major role with 44 not out from 15 balls and 4 wickets.
Islamabad United Won Their Third Title In 2024
Islamabad United returned to the top in 2024 by beating Multan Sultans by 2 wickets. The win gave Islamabad their third PSL title.

Multan scored 159/9, and Islamabad reached 163/8 in 20 overs. Imad Wasim won Player of the Match for his important performance in the final.
Lahore Qalandars Matched Islamabad With Third Title In 2025
Lahore Qalandars won their third PSL trophy in 2025 by defeating Quetta Gladiators by 6 wickets. The final was played at Gaddafi Stadium, Lahore.

Quetta scored 201/9, but Lahore chased the target with 204/4 in 19.5 overs. Kusal Perera scored 62 not out from 31 balls and won Player of the Match.
Peshawar Zalmi Won PSL 2026 After Nine Years
Peshawar Zalmi became PSL champions again in 2026 after beating Hyderabad Kingsmen by 5 wickets. The final was played at Gaddafi Stadium, Lahore, on May 3, 2026.

Most Successful Teams In PSL History
Islamabad United and Lahore Qalandars are the most successful teams in PSL history with three titles each. Islamabad won the trophy in 2016, 2018 and 2024, while Lahore won in 2022, 2023 and 2025.
Peshawar Zalmi are next with two titles. Their 2026 win was important because it ended a long gap since their first championship in 2017.
